The Community Policing Official renders a service to clients
in the community service centre at police stations, where
members of the community can register complaints.
What are the minimum requirements to
become a Community Policing Official?
To work as a Community Policing official individuals must
have completed Basic police training.
Training:
No specific internal training. Individuals can undergo
external training in Community Policing Course I, II and III.
Where can you be stationed?
Community Policing Officials are stationed at Police stations
in South Africa.
