A Nurse is responsible for assisting with the rehabilitation
of the ill, injured and weak people. Nurses also participate in
activities such as supplying health guidance and counseling to
patients in the South African Police Service.
What are the minimum requirements to
become a Nurse?
An individual must have a B.Cur Degree or Diploma in Nursing
and must be registered with the South African Nursing Council.
Training:
Nurses undergo internal training and external training
provided by the relevant professional bodies to keep on par with
other health professionals.
Where can you be stationed?
Nurses are stationed at the rehabilitation center and at the
Hospital of the South African Police Service in Pretoria.
