Cleaners maintain offices and buildings in a clean and
orderly condition for the comfort and safety of the people who
work there. The comfort and pleasant working conditions of
personnel in the SAPS often depend on a small group of cleaners.
These workers clean floors, windows and walls, vacuum carpets,
dust furniture, empty dustbins and so forth. A wide variety of
cleaning agents and equipment is used by cleaners, from mop and
bucket to electrically powered machines and special cleaning
solutions.
What are the minimum requirements to
become a Cleaner?
No special educational qualification is required for the job
of a cleaner.
Training:
Cleaners receive on the job training.
Where can you be stationed?
National, Provincial, Area or Station office where above
services are needed in the South African Police Service.
