A General Worker supports South African Police Service
personnel with the rendering of manual labor work of a routine
in nature. They render basic routine support with regard to
technicians, artisans, handyman tasks and support logistical
personnel in relation to the maintenance of stores and storage
places. A General Worker also renders support to personnel
responsible for the training and breeding of animals for crime
combating purposes and maintain a high level of hygiene in and
around the workplace.
What are the minimum requirements to
become a General Worker?
The qualification you will need to become a general worker in
the South African Police Service is grade 10 or equivalent. You
must also have basic Communication skills.
Training:
Mostly in-service training by supervisor in the South African
Police Service.
Where can you be stationed?
National, Provincial, Area or Station office where above
services are needed in the South African Police Service.
