The Industrial Technician (Architectural) compiles sketch
plans, working drawings and specifications for the calling of
tenders for the construction of buildings. He/she designs and
draughts drawings. He/she also does product development and
research of building technology for use in South African Police
Service projects, manages minor projects, general administration
and management of building projects.
What are the minimum requirements to
become a Industrial Technician (Architectural)?
A National Diploma (T or N Stream) in Architectural
Technology or equivalent tertiary qualification at a recognized
institution. A valid code 08 drivers licence.
Training:
Relevant internal training will be provided.
Where can you be stationed?
Logistics in the South African Police Service.
