A Spray-painter sprays paint onto the bodywork of a South African Police Service motor vehicle by means of a spray gun in order to change the colour or to repaint scratched and damaged paintwork. He/She is also responsible for preparing the surfaces which are to be spray-painted and for mixing the paint to the exact shade required.

What are the minimum requirements to become a Spray Painter?

Artisan status as a Spray-Painter (Refer to Artisan).

Training:

In-service training will be provided.

Where can you be stationed?

National, Provincial, Area where above services are needed.
