Crime Intelligence Management Officials are responsible for the management and maintenance of the operational and support functions to ensure an effective and efficient crime information management service for improved service delivery in the South African Police Service.

What are the minimum requirements to become a Crime Intelligence Management Official?

The individual must have a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification. Must have completed Basic Police Training. A tertiary qualification in management or other where management principles were included in the curriculum, is recommended.

Training:

Individuals undergo training in a variety of courses including, project management, leadership, information systems for individuals and suspects (ISIS) and geographic information system.

Where can you be stationed?

Crime Intelligence Management Officials are stationed at National Head Office, Crime Intelligence.
