STANDARDS AND MONITORING DEVELOPER |
A developer is expected to develop policies of the South
African Police Services to the required standards. He/she has to
exercise control of monitoring the compliance with the National
Instructions. A developer must be able to manage the regulations
pertaining to the required standards. He/she must also develop
the Human Resource Policies. The developer has to ensure that
he/she monitors that such policies are complied with by the
members of the South African Police Service.
What are the minimum requirements to
become a Policy, Standards and Monitoring Developer?
A person who wants to become a policy, standards and
monitoring developer must have a diploma in Human Resource
Management or a Law qualification. He/she must also have
attended a training course in Policy development and a
Management Course, or have a certificate on Policy Development
and Management.
Training:
Each member involved in Policy, Standards and Monitoring
Developing shall be given the opportunity to undergo training to
empower/equip himself/herself.
Where can you be stationed?
A developer can be placed at Head Office in Pretoria at the
following Divisions: Career Management, Legal Services,
Personnel Services, Protection and Security Services, Crime
Prevention and Operational Response Services.
