The Call Centre Officials provides a 24-hour professional and
immediate telephone contact service to the community for crime
related emergencies. The Call Centre Official prioritizes crimes
committed, records all complaints on a computer system and gives
guidance to the community during life threatening and distress
situations.
What are the minimum requirements to
become a Call Centre Official?
The individual must have a Senior certificate (Grade 12), no
speech or hearing impediment and fit competency profile.
Training:
Individuals have to undergo a 10111 Call Centre Training
Programme.
Where can you be stationed?
Call Centre officials are stationed at Police Emergency
Services at the South African Police Service: Crime Prevention.
