Data Capturer are responsible for the administration, distribution and forwarding of source documents, computerization of information from source documents, controlling computerized source documents and producing computerized reports (eg, bail reports, criminal record reports and criminal profiles).

What are the minimum requirements to become a Data Capturer?

Individuals must have a Grade 12 certificate, be computer literate and have a valid drivers licence (code 08).

Training:

Individuals undergo training in Word Processing and other relevant computer course.

Where can you be stationed?

Data Capturers are stationed in the South African Police Service countrywide.
