Internal Auditors in the South African Police Service are
responsible for planning of audits in terms of International
Internal Auditors standards, drafting of audit reports,
developing audit procedures and programmes for internal audit
and preparation and presentation of audit findings. An Internal
Auditor also conduct or assist in the research to ensure
uniforms of audit practices/ procedures.
What are the minimum requirements to
become an Internal Auditor?
You must have a Tertiary qualification (Internal audit
related field) from an accredited institution.
Training:
In-service training will be provided in eg. Polfin and Persal.
Where can you be stationed?
Internal Auditors can be stationed on National or Provincial
levels (National Evaluation Services) in the South African
Police Service.
