Local Criminal Record Centre Officials are responsible for
recording crime scenes/ objects by means of ideography,
photography and drafting techniques, investigating crime scenes/
objects for exhibits and clues for forensic analysis. They
collect, preserve and process forensic exhibits and register
cases on the system.
What are the minimum requirements to
become a Local Criminal Record Centre Official?
The individual must have a Senior certificate (Grade 12) and
must have completed Basic Police Training.
Training:
Individuals undergo training relevant to their area of
specialization.
Where can you be stationed?
Local Criminal Record Centre Officials are stationed at the
Local Criminal Record Centres Countrywide.
