Switchboard Operators are responsible for answering telephone calls and transferring calls to other extensions, making calls on behalf of the staff and keeping records of calls and messages.

What are the minimum requirements to become a Switchboard Operator?

Individuals must have a Senior Certificate (Grade 12) and a good command of English

Training:

Individuals undergo in-service training.

Where can you be stationed?

Switchboard Operators are stationed at South African Police Service offices countrywide.
