MONITORING AND OPERATIONAL DEVELOPER |
An Evaluation, Monitoring and Operational Developer is
responsible for developing and maintaining strategic direction
(including policy and standards) to effectively investigate
general crime. He/she is also responsible for developing and
maintaining crime stop facilities, occult related investigation
and witness protection.
What are the minimum requirements to
become an Evaluation, Monitoring and Operational Developer?
One must have a driver’s licence (code 08 or higher), a
matric certificate (Grade 12) and must have completed Basic
Police Training. He/she must have at least two years functional
experience in a detective environment, be computer literate and
be familiar with the Crime Administration System, the
circulation system and other mainframe systems in use by the
South African Police Service. He/she must also be fluent in at
least two official languages of which one must be English.
Training:
Individuals undergo training in, Field officers training,
Basic investigators course and Mentorship programme.
Where can you be stationed?
Evaluation, monitoring and operational developers are
stationed at Detective Services Division of the South African
Police Service.
