SYSTEMS MANGEMENT OFFICIAL |
The official has to support, improve and manage Information
Systems and Information and Communication Technology (IS/ICT)
products within the South African Police Service. He/she has to
manage the integration of external and transversals (IS/ICT)
products and services. The official controls and improves
information Management within South African Police Service.
He/she manage the yearly and medium term IS/ICT budgets and
expenditure for the South African Police Service. The official
enables, supports and improve Information Systems Management
(ISM) service delivery.
What are the minimum requirements to
become an Information and Systems Management Official?
The official must have a grade 12 certificate. Have a strong
interest in computers and computer systems. He/she must have a
valid drivers licence.
Training:
Each member of Information and Systems Management shall be
given the opportunity to undergo training to empower/equip
himself/herself.
Where can you be stationed?
Should a person qualifies, he/she can be placed at the
following Sections:
- Sub-Section Planning;
- Infrastructure Management;
- Systems Management;
- Acquisition Management; and
- National and Provincial IT Offices.
