The Legal Administration official is responsible for the
development, interpretation, application and implementation of
policies. He/she provides legal advise to the South African
Police Service with regard to crime and related operations.
He/she is also involved in the development of national legal
standards on policy development & framework.
What are the minimum requirements to
become a Legal Administration Official?
One must have BA Law; B.Juris or B.Proc Degrees, a drivers’
licence and be fluent in at least two official languages of
which one must be English.
Training:
Individuals undergo internal training relevant to their field
of work.
Where can you be stationed?
The legal administration officials are stationed at Legal
Services in the South African Police Service.
