Crime Prevention : Safety Tips

In the office building

• Do not get into lifts with people who look out of place or behave in a strange or threatening manner. If you find your self in a lit with someone who makes you nervous, get out at the next floor.
   
• A woman by herself should be very careful of getting into a lift with more than one man inside.
   
• Always stand in front of the control panel so you can press the emergency button if threatened, and always stop the lift and get out if you feel uncomfortable or threatened in any way.
