Women's Network
FUNCTIONING OF THE WOMEN’S NETWORK
The Women’s Network will be
headed by a select group of women who are known as the Women’s
Network champions.
These champions will liaise, on
an ad hoc basis, with all relevant internal and external
stakeholders, including line functionaries from both the support
and operational environments. It is imperative that all women in
the SAPS be involved in this initiative.
The programme of the Network
will involve all sectors of the Service, including those at
national, provincial, area and station levels. Women’s networks
need to be revitalized and aligned with existing gender
structures.
