PRIMROSE POLICE AND CRIME PREVENTION YOUTH DESK VISITS MAKAUSE INFORMAL SETTLEMENT
2020/03/30      |  Written By:  Sergeant M Maome   |   Province:  Gauteng

Primrose Police, Community patrollers and members of crime prevention youth desk visited Makause informal settlement to give safety tips and educate the community about Corona virus(covid 19). The safety of our community is our safety. We as police we are concern about how this virus is escalating day by day and our informal settlements are really vulnerable since the shacks are too close to one another therefore educating the community can reduce the risk thereof. 3000 safety tips printed by Eastrand Academy school were distributed to the residence of Makause informal settlement. We would like to thank Eastrand Academy school and members of Primrose crime prevention youth desk for their contributions during this door to door awareness campaign, we hope our community will consider this safety tips for their own safety. We are also still appealing to our community not to damage essential services vehicles with stones when they come to give service to them. They must report all criminal activities to Primrose police using this numbers 071 675 6864/5/6/7/8/9 or our charge office at 011 842 0522 and they must not take the law into their own hands.
