PRIMROSE POLICE APPREHENDS THREE SUSPECTS FOR POSSESSION OF STOLEN GOODS, UNLICENSED FIREARM AND LIVE AMMUNITION

Primrose Police arrested three suspects aged 37 to 41-years-old for possession of stolen goods, unlicensed firearm and live ammunition at Ridgeway Street, Primrose Hill in Primrose which happened on 2020/10/06. Police were patrolling and came across a white VW Cady that was parked at the gate and the driver was busy knocking at the gate, when he saw the Police he went inside the vehicle and drove off.  Police followed then until they stopped him. 

One passenger went out of the car with a black plastic, the Police instructed him to stop as they wanted to search him.  He called for backup and they searched them.  Inside the plastic they found two pistol firearms with no serial numbers, one firearm with 4 live ammunitions and the other with 15 live ammunitions.  Police asked for firearm license and they could not produce any.  They were arrested and detained at primrose police station, they appeared at Germiston Magistrates' Court and the matter was remanded for plea and trial.
