CAPE TOWN: RAPID RAIL POLICE ARRESTED A 29-YEAR-OLD TANZANIAN NATIONAL

Police have busted a 29-year-old suspect in an locked room and arrested him for dealing with drugs.

During their crime prevention patrol the police in Cruise Street in Maitland in Garden Village, two men were seen acting suspiciously upon seeing the police, when they saw the police they fled to a nearby flat.

While following the suspects, the police were caught by dagga smell coming out from a locked room.

As soon as gained entry they pounced on the suspect who was in possession of a dagga estimated to the street value of R147 000.

The first two suspects who led the police to the flat could not be found by the police. The police were still on the hunt of them.

The 29-year-old suspect was expected to appear at Cape Town Magistrates’ Court.
