STUPA BOY GANGMEMBER AND ACCOMPLICE IN COURT FOR DEALING DRUGS: BISHOP LAVIS

BISHOP LAVIS: In the fight against dealing and the use of drugs, Police Officers are continuing with their mandate to root out the seemingly lucrative illegal trade of drugs in the policing precinct.

Members of Flying Squad was on duty on Tuesday 02 February 2021, when they received valuable information from Crime intelligence relating a hitman for the Stupa Boy Gang that is at home with a firearm. When the members approached the premises in Gousblom Street, Kalksteenfontein, they proceeded to a Wendy House as per the information received. Upon entering, they found a male and female seated, appearing to be very nervous.

The members searched the human beings and instead of finding the firearm, their hard work paid off when they confiscated 63 Mandrax Tablets, 83 Half Mandrax Tablets, 61 Small sachets containing Methamphetamine, one large sachet containing a large quantity of Methamphetamine as well as an undisclosed amount of cash. The exhibits confiscated has an estimated street value of R12 000 a 30-year-old male and a 49-year-old female was arrested and detained at Bishop Lavis SAPS. The duo will make a court appearance in the Bishop Lavis Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday 03 February 2021. Bishop Lavis SAPS is investigating a case of dealing in Drugs.

The Station Commander of Bishop Lavis, Brigadier Christopher Jones is extremely pleased with the selfless efforts of SAPS members to create a safer environment for the people of Bishop Lavis.
