As part of school safety programme, the police in Mahikeng accompanied by Community patrollers visited Sebopiwa secondary school in Signal Hill village just outside Mahikeng on Tuesday, 23 March 2021.

The purpose of the visit was to conduct an awareness on bullying and substance abuse which are rampant at schools in and around the area.

Learners were also educated about the disadvantages of being involved in criminal activities and sensitised that such behaviour is unlawful in nature and totally discouraged. In addition, learners were also encouraged to remain focused and disciplined as they are the country's future leaders.

At the end, information was shared about stubborn crimes in the area and safety tips were provided to that effect.
