FOOD HAMPERS HANDED OVER TO MORE THAN TWO HUNDRED SENIOR CITIZENS IN THE NYANGA POLICING PRECINCT

Senior Citizens in the Nyanga Policing precinct had an early Mother’s day on Saturday, 08 May 2021.

Three hundred food hampers were handed over to senior citizens of Browns Farm, Crossroads and Nyanga. The food hampers were donated by the CEO of Titanic Cargo SA.

The Station Commander of Nyanga, Brigadier Vuyisile Ncata and the CPF Chairperson Mr Martin Makhasi addressed the attendees on issues of gender base violence, elderly rights and various other crime issues.

Mr Naidoo who is the CEO of the company also addressed the senior citizens telling them that this year he decided to enjoy his birthday with the community of Nyanga.

The programme started in Crossroads, Nyanga and culminated in Browns Farm. Eight hundred  various pamphlets were also distributed.

The senior citizens were so excited and thanked Mr Naidoo for his kindness and bringing them Mothers’ day gifts in advance.
