Members of Mooinooi Social Crime Prevention, the Communication Officer of the district and Community Police Forum (CPF) members formed part of  a school safety activity which was held on Wednesday, 26 May 2021 at Thabo Morula Secondary School in Segwaelane village. The prime objective of the anti-bullying campaign was to educate learners about different trends of bullying such as stabbing and assaulting of learners. The learners were also educated on sexual offences as well as the dangers of smoking or engaging in drug and substance abuse.

Sergeant Elizabeth Mphatsa, Community Policing Officer (CPO) urged the learners to respect each other and to refrain from such anti-social behavioural activities as they might end up behind bars. She further urged them to focus on their studies and respect the teachers who are helping them to build a bright future for themselves.

Moreover, the learners were handed SAPS branded stationery and flyers educating them about the dynamics embroidered around bullying and sexual offences.
