Primrose Police arrested a suspect aged 49-years-old for Fraud which happened at Coral Street, Woodmere in Primrose. The complainant alleged that he knew the suspect from his Facebook account and he wanted him to do maintenance fitting in the kitchen.  He gave him a quotation but he never did any maintenance.  On the 12 of November 2018 they phoned him to make final arrangements and deposited R17 500 via EFT. 

After the payment the complainant never heard from him again and all his phoned numbers were switched off.  The complainant phoned him again and promised to do the job, but he never arrived.  The complainant was suspicious that it might be a scam, he started investigating and realized he is not using his real name and found that he is staying in Krugersdorp.  Matter was reported to the Police and suspect was traced and arrested, he was detained at Primrose SAPS, charged with Fraud.  He appeared in Germiston Magistrates’ Court matter remanded for plea and trial.
