BLUE DOWNS CLUSTER CRIME COMBAT UNIT ARREST 40-YEAR-OLD WOMAN AND SEIZED THOUSAND'S WORTH OF DRUGS

Dennemeer, Kleinvlei: The scourge of drugs remains one of the main contributors destroying family structures and societies. That is why various SAPS units works tirelessly to eradicate this drug evil from our streets.  

On Thursday afternoon, 24 June 2021 around 12:30, SAPS members attached to the Blue Downs Cluster Combat Unit swooped on a house in Fairfield Close, Dennemeer in Kleinvlei, after receiving an anonymous tip-off, of drugs being dropped off at the mentioned address. Upon searching the premises, the members found a blue plastic container inside a room containing eight (8) plastic bags of mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R240 000. They arrested a 40-year-old female for possession of drugs, who will appear in the Blue Downs Magistrates' Court, soon.

The Cluster Commander, Major-General Vincent Beaton, praised the members for their hard work and dedication in the fight against the illegal drug trade that is destroying our communities. He also applaud the community for the anonymous tip-off, which lead to the successful confiscation of the drugs and arrest.
