PROVINCIAL COMMISSIONER CONDEMNS BRUTAL KILLING OF TWO MEN AND ORDERS SPEEDY INVESTIGATIONS: POLOKWANE

POLOKWANE - The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has strongly condemned the brutal murder of two men whose bodies were found at Madiseng village in Tubatse policing area this morning, Tuesday 03 August 2021.

The Police received a report about the incident and quickly rushed to the scene. Upon arrival they found two deceased men lying on the ground, surrounded by community members.

The deceased were having multiple wounds on the head, legs and both tied with electric cables. One of the deceased was positively identified by a relative at the scene as Putana Mahlaki aged 37 but the other one is currently unknown.

“The faceless people who committed these brutal murders under the darkness of the night will be hunted down and brought to book. We urge community members with information to assist the police in tracking down these criminals,” concluded Lieutenant General Hadebe.

The motive for the incident is unknown at this stage but mob justice cannot be ruled out.
