WOMAN’S MONTH: SAPS BOTHASIG AND BELLVILLE FAMILY CHILD &SEXUAL OFFENCES UNIT TEAM UP TO RAISE AWARENESS

Bothasig: On Friday 2021-08-20, members from SAPS Bothasig partnering with members from Bellville FCS Unit, visited Cedar Spar in Bothasig to participate in the Woman’s month purple roll project.

The aim was to raise awareness regarding gender based violence during Woman’s month by the distribution of informative pamphlets to clients visiting Spar, as well as clients buying purple rolls.

The purple hamburger roll project is a partnership between SAPS Bothasig and Cedar Spar Bothasig whereby a limited amount of purple hamburger rolls are produced and sold by Cedar Spar on a Friday in to raise awareness locally regarding crimes against women.
