STRENGTHENING STAKEHOLDER RELATIONS AND CAPACITY BUILDING: HENDRINA

The Hendrina SAPS honoured an invitation to a stakeholder engagement with Black Sash, A national human Rights monitoring organization as well as with Senzokuhle Advice Centre.

The engagement sought to discuss issues of capacity building in as far as human rights matters are concerned and how the three organizations can work together and build capacity. Representing SAPS in the meeting was  WO B.B Mnguni & Sgt P Rahlaba and representing Black Sash was the Kwa Zulu Natal and Mpumalanga Regional Office Manager, Ms Evashnee Naidu & Mr Jarome Bele  as well as representatives from Senzokuhle Advice Centre, Ms Lindiwe Martins (Centre Manager 7 Coordinator) & Mr VCV Malala (Social Worker).

There was a commitment from all organizations to strenfthen capacity through rigorous human rights training.
