DONATION OF SCHOOL UNIFORM AND GROCERY TO A LEARNER: HEBRON
2022/05/17      |  Written By:  SAC M Nkabinde   |   Province:  North West

The American Essayist, Lecturer and Philosopher, Ralph Waldo Emerson’s quote says: “The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honourable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”

Hebron police did just that on Thursday, 12 May 2022, when an identified child learner was spoiled with school uniform. The Social Crime Prevention Unit and Community Police Forum (CPF) firstly visited Itsoseng Combined Secondary School, where a Grade 8 learner received school uniform. Thereafter, the team went to Itsoseng, Phase 2 in Hebron, where the resides with his grandparents. The family were further surprised with a grocery donation. The contribution was made by Mr Malungane, who was thanked for making a difference after the needy learner was identified by the Community Policing Officer, WO Lungu.
