ELECTION OF THE RUSTENBURG EXECUTIVE COMMUNITY POLICE FORUM

On Thursday evening, 2 June 2022 the Rustenburg Community Police Forum (CPF)  Executive Committee was officially elected at Agape Church.

The proceedings were chaired by the Provincial CPF Chairperson, Mr Ngamlane as well as the CPF Provincial Co-ordinator, Captain Matla. Brigadier Pheto, Station Commander of Rustenburg and the Provincial Commander: Partnership Policing, Colonel Myburgh, also attended the meeting.

A committee of ten was elected as follows: Chairperson, Kagiso Marobe; Deputy chairperson, Marcus Haasboek; Secretary, Mercia Haasbroek; Deputy Secretary, Daisy Moloko; Treasurer, Rassie Byleveld and five additional members:  Hennie Barnard, Dawie Odendal, Koketso Mpudi, Tina Vosloo and Nphiwe Mtunge.

The committee will focus on planning the way forward. The Bojanala sub-District 2, CPF Chairperson gave a word of support to the newly elected members of the executive.

On behalf of department of Community Safety and Transport Management,  Director Nchoe, expressed her gratitude and further encouraged the community to continue to be a reliable source of information for the police.
