COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE REQUESTED TO IDENTIFY DECEASED MAN: OTTOSHOOP

UPDATE: The deceased man was identified by a family member as Tebogo George Mosweu on Thursday, 9 June 2022, after they saw on Facebook and heard on local radio stations that police are requesting assistance in identifying him.

He was residing  in Dinokana Village, Zeerust.

POTCHEFSTROOM: 8 June 2022 – The police in Ottoshoop request community assistance in identifying an unknown man found deceased by a passer-by on Thursday, 2 June 2022, next to R49 road near Ikhayalami Farm, Ottoshoop.

The man is estimated to be between 30 and 35 years old and has a tattoo on his lower left arm, written Mosweu Nebo (see attached photo). He was wearing blue jeans, a purple vest and tekkies.

At this stage no foul play is suspected and an inquest is under investigation. Anyone with information that can assist the police in identifying this man is requested to contact the Investigating Officer, Constable Tumelo Molatlhegi on 082 373 9830.
