NAPIER: Overberg District members conducted several operations in the past weekend which resulted in the confiscation of drugs and three drug related arrests. On Friday 07 October 2022, at approximately 19:10, the members stopped a drug dealer at a stop and search operation on the Bredasdorp\Elim road and searched his vehicle. They found 30 mandrax tablets. Three males aged 43; 19; 23 was arrested for dealing in drugs.
Meanwhile, a 252 Warrant was executed at a shebeen at Napier Squatter Camp and 133.44L of alcohol was confiscated. A 28 year old males was arrested for Dealing in Liquor.
The suspects are expected to make their court appearance in the Bredasdorp Magistrates' Court on Monday, 10 October 2022.
