EASTERN CAPE: Gqeberha Specialised Commercial Crime Court convicted Nondumiso Olivia David (55) on 6 June 2023 on charges of fraud whilst the case against Vusumzi David (53) who is the co-accused is still pending. During the period of 1 January 2018 until 30 October 2018, the accused persons Vusumzi David (53) and his wife Nondumiso David as Estate Agents for Zolam Properties defrauded six (6) victims in Gqeberha area out of purchase of houses to the total value of over five (5) million rands.
The accused made their six (6) clients to believe that BNI Attorneys were conducting the conveyance of the properties, however the monies were deposited into the business account of both accused persons. After several court appearances Nondumiso David was convicted will be sentenced on 19 June 2023.
