WESTERN CAPE: Bishop Lavis police are seeking the assistance of the public to trace the driver of a motor vehicle whom they believe can assist them with their investigation surrounding the circumstances of a collision in Bonteheuwel on Sunday 14 May 2023 at around 21:20
Reports suggested that an unknown man sustained serious injuries when he was hit by a motor vehicle near the C/O of Bluegum Street and Jakes Gerwel Drive in Bonteheuwel. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with an ambulance where he was declared deceased on Monday 15 May 2023 due to the fatal injuries he sustained. The driver of the motor vehicle fled the scene. Bishop Lavis police has registered a case of culpable homicide for further investigation.
