POLOKWANE : On Monday 31 June 2023 - Limpopo SAPS Capricorn District Tracing Team arrested a 24-year-old suspect linked with business robbery during a Tactical Operation Tswara Tsotsi conducted in Pretoria Oliven from 2023-07-27 until 2023-07-30.
According to information, the suspect was an employee at the farm in Alldays. On the day four suspects overpowered the wife of the farmer and forced their way in the farm and took a firearm , Cellphone and cash before fleeing the scene on foot joined by the farm employee .The incident occurred in April 2023.
Investigations revealed that this suspect left with farm robbers that day. He was traced and arrested at Pretoria Oliven in Gauteng Province. The other three were arrested during June in Pretoria and they were remanded in custody. They are Shakes Ndlovu, Phineas Ndlovu and Petrus Sithole. Their case is remanded to 21 September 2023(Thursday).for further investigation.
The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has welcomed the arrest and praised the members for working tirelessly. The fourth suspect is detained at Alldays and he will soon appear before the Senwabarwana Magistrate's Court soon .The Police investigations are still continuing.
