WESTERN CAPE: 02 OCTOBER 2023 - Members attached to Operation Restore busy with high density operations in Mfuleni area searched a premises in Luntu Crescent, Happy Valley on Saturday 2023-09-30 discovered 150 packets of crystal meth and arrested a 19 year old male for the possession of drugs. Furthermore the members searched a premises in Sipho Street, Mfuleni and arrested a 35 year old female for dealing in liquor without a license. The suspect could not produce a license or permit for the liquor found on the premises.
Members of Operation Restore deployed in Gugulethu area to combat crime searched a premises in the Kanana informal settlement where they found an assortment of liquor abandoned inside the dwelling. An enquiry was opened for investigation.
Once charged the suspects will make their respective court appearances in the Blue Downs Magistrates court on the mentioned charges.
