The City of Hope Church in Kimberley hosted an appreciation service for the security cluster on Sunday, 12 November 2023, under the theme: "Amaze Jesus with great Faith" from the book of Luke 7: Verse 2-10.
In attendance was the Northern Cape Deputy Provincial Commissioner for Policing, Major General Luntu Ngubelanga supported by Senior management and members.
Pastor Jan van Reenen prayed for the South African Police Service, South African National Defense Force, Correctional Services, Fire Department and Private Security Services in the province for protection and safety when they executed their duties during the festive season period.
The pastor also prayed for communities in the Northern Cape to submit to authority and to honour the work that the police and other security clusters are doing in protecting and keeping the communities safe.
