Police in Gqeberha hunt murder supsects in separate incidents

GQEBERHA - Detective officers at SAPS Kwadwesi and Kwazakele are searching for suspects allegedly involved in the murders of two men in separate incidents over the weekend.

In the first incident, at about 07:15 this morning police in Kwadwesi were alerted to a body lying next to Old Uitenhage Road, Govan Mbeki.  The deceased person, identified as Sithembele Nxoyeka, aged 31, sustained severe head and body injuries. The deceased resided in the same area.

The motive and circumstances for his murder is under investigation.

In another incident, the body of a 31-year-old male was found near a dam behind Khumbelani Street in Soweto-On-Sea this morning. It is alleged that at about 09:45, police found the body of Thembelani Sikade wrapped in a plastic bag. The deceased sustained burn marks on his back as well as severe injuries to his body. The motive and suspects are unknown at this stage. Police investigation continues.

SAPS Kwazakele detectives are investigating a case of murder.
