Police probe attempted house robbery and inquest after farm attack in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE - SAPS members are investigating a case of attempted house robbery and an inquest after a farm attack in Cambridge on Sunday morning 24 October 2021, East London.

A 57-year-old man survived at his horseshoe valley farm, Cambridge. The unidentified suspect allegedly entered the farm and held up the owner, together with his family against their will, whilst pointing them with a sharp object. He assaulted and stabbed the owner. The suspect whose age is unknown was also injured during the scuffle and later succumbed to his injuries.

The owner was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Cases of attempted house robbery and Inquest are under investigation.

The circumstances surrounding the incident form part of the investigation.
