Three suspects linked to the Soshanguve tavern shooting have been arrested and are expected to appear before court soon.

In May 2022, the suspects reportedly fired shots randomly at patrons at a local tavern in Soshanguve, leaving two people dead and three injured.

The suspects were arrested on 01 October 2022 after months of investigations by members of the Provincial Murder and Robbery team. The Provincial Commissioner of Gauteng, Lieutenant General Elias Mawela has applauded the team for a breakthrough on the case.

All three suspects are expected to appear before court soon on charges of murder and attempted murder.
