Media Statement GQEBERHA – A 32-year-old male was arrested by police in Motherwell on 01 October 2022 at about 00:15 for the alleged fatal stabbing of his brother during an apparent dispute at their home in NU6, Motherwell. This followed after SAPS Motherwell was alerted to the stabbing when the 35-year-old victim was taken to the Motherwell Health Centre. Shortly after arriving at the health centre, the victim succumbed to his injury. The victim’s 32-year-old brother was swiftly arrested and a knife was seized. The 32-year-old suspect is appearing before the Motherwell Magistrate’s Court today on a charge of murder. Ends
