DURBAN - On Thursday, 10 November 2022, police received information about three men who posed as security guards at the Molweni taxi rank.

The team proceeded to the taxi rank where three men were caught carrying three AK 47 rifles and a pistol. Police officers also seized 114 rounds of ammunition. Three suspects aged between 31 and 42 were placed under arrest for unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition. They appeared before the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court on 11 November 2022.
