WESTERN CAPE - Western Cape police management deployed 131 extra newly trained Constables to enhance police visibility as part of the Safer Festive Season operations.

These members joined forces already deployed in crime ridden areas in George earlier today. They are currently placed at various police stations in the Garden Route District and are deployed at malls as well as beaches.

District Commissioner for the Garden Route, Major General Norman Modishana, led the team in crime combatting operations.
