Suspects wanted for armed robbery on the N1

EDENBURG - Police in Edenburg are requesting for the community to come forward with information that can aid in resolving a case of armed robbery that occurred on 14 February 2024.

On Wednesday, 14 February 2024, at about 10:40, complainant Ndou Tshifaina (41), alleged that he was traveling from Bloemfontein to Cape Town, and he stopped near the bridge 25 km before Trompsburg on the N1 for a travel break, and he suddenly saw a white Toyota Corolla stopping behind his car.

He then saw two males alighting from the vehicle, one of them holding a firearm. They both searched him and took his Taurus 9mm Firearm with ammunition and his wallet with cash before leaving the scene.

A case of armed robbery is being registered and investigated by  Edenburg Detectives.
