POLOKWANE - On Wednesday, 11 September 2024, members of the SAPS attached to the Limpopo Provincial Career Development, in partnership with Mokopane SAPS Social Crime Prevention and Local Criminal Record Centre (LCRC), attended a career day exhibition at Ortloffs Preparatory School in Mokopane.
The team, led by Captain Selepe, Sergeant Zandile Nyathi, and Sergeant Mathabatha Bezuidenhout, joined learners, educators, and stakeholders from various departments and private sectors in facilitating the career day.
Captain Selepe addressed the senior foundation learners, informing them about the different career opportunities available in within the SAPS and the importance of discipline, respect, and hard work in achieving success. She emphasized the need to refrain from criminal activities, which can harm their future prospects.
The learners had the opportunity to visit various stalls to gather more information about their career choices.
The school's Deputy Principal, Mr. Ayodele Ogundiran, expressed gratitude for the police's presence and support, acknowledging their availability whenever situations arise at the school.
