News: Update: Duo arrested for a jewellery store robbery

GAUTENG - Two suspects were arrested last night in connection to the robbery that happened on 11 October 2021 at a jewellery store in Lyttelton, Centurion.

A swift response by Police members led to the arrest of two suspects in Hillbrow. The suspects were also found in possession of the vehicle allegedly used to flee the scene.

Preliminary investigations revealed that one of the arrested suspect is wanted for different case of robbery. Police are still on the lookout for four more suspects.

Both suspects aged 23 and 24 years are expected to appear before court soon on charges of business robbery and murder.

The police still appeal to the public to come forth with information that can assist with the investigation on the Crime Stop Line 08600 10111 or MySapsApp which can be downloaded on any smart phone.
