KEMPTON PARK - The National Commissioner of the South African Police Service (SAPS), General Fannie Masemola will together with the Provincial Commissioner of Gauteng, Lieutenant General Elias Mawela assess law enforcement’s state of readiness at the OR Tambo International Airport (ORTIA) on Sunday, 19 March 2023.

The aim of the visit is to ensure that all necessary measures are in place to prevent and combat any opportunistic elements of criminality at all the country’s ports of entry.

The state of readiness will unfold as follows:

Time: 09:30 for 10:00

Date: Sunday, 19 March 2023

Venue: OR Tambo International Airport Police Station.
