BLOEMFONTEIN - Convicted rapist and murderer Thabo Bester is expected to appear before the Bloemfontein Magistrate Court this morning, Friday, 14 April 2023 following his rearrest two days ago.

Bester was serving a life sentence imprisonment at the time of his escape.

He at this stage faces a charge of escaping from lawful custody, defeating the ends of justice, violation of a dead body and fraud.
